Chris Hammonds, Sporting Tours operator, a sports nut with a passion for travel, is behind New Zealand's first online travel service specialising in sporting tours, and has set up this dedicated sporting tours web site as a way of merging his successful travel agency with his love of sport.
A natural progression after hosting tours to the Hong Kong 7s in 1997 and the last 3 Rugby World Cups, Hammonds' knowledge of the industry and love of sports has helped him learn exactly the sorts of service sports fans demand when paying their hard earned money on what for many is the trip of a lifetime.
