Since 1998, Cafe Sushi has quietly held its place on Dominion Road — the same six seats, the same small counter, and the same warm smile behind it all.

Chef Sarah, a Korean immigrant and mother of three boys (now grown), opened her tiny shop with a simple dream: to share good food and build a life for her family. Nearly three decades later, she's still here — preparing rice before sunrise, greeting regulars, and serving every roll with the same care and precision she started with.

Over the years, she's watched children grow up — from after-school regulars to parents now bringing in kids of their own. The neighborhood has changed, but Sarah's little corner hasn't. Her kindness, hard work, and quiet mastery of her craft have made Cafe Sushi a local favorite — known for fresh, high-quality sushi at honest prices.

In its 27 years of operation, Cafe Sushi remains what it's always been: small, welcoming, and full of heart.
